Miss Lubbock is an official a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Miss Lubbock and Miss Lubbock's Teen Competition is an official preliminary to the Miss Texas Competition and is affiliated with the Miss America Organization. Participation in this program provides young women with the opportunity to promote initiatives regarding community service and share their talents, intelligence, and positive values while serving as a role model to the community. Those who are crowned as the Miss Lubbock and Miss Lubbock's Outstanding Teen 2025 will advance to compete for the title of Miss Texas/Miss Texas's Teen and have the opportunity to earn thousands of dollars in scholarships.
