ELIGIBILITY

• Miss Lubbock: must be no younger then 18 on September 1st, 2026 and no older than 28 on September 20th, 2026

• Miss Lubbock's Teen: must no younger than 14 on September 1st, 2026 and no older than 18 on September 20th, 2026

• be a United States citizen

• be a female

• live within a 2.5 hour drive from Lubbock, TX

• single (not married)

• no legal dependents

• Private Interview - 30%

• Health and Fitness - 20%

• Talent or HER story - 20%

• Evening Wear - 20%

• On-Stage Conversation - 10%

HOW TO REGISTER

Step 1#: Register with the The Miss America Organization and pay the $49.99 fee. You can register and pay with the link below:

Step #2: Once registered with the Miss America organization you will pay the $60 Miss Lubbock registration fee.  You can pay with the link below:

Step #3: Once you are registered to compete, you will receive instructions on how to create a fundraising page for the American Heart Association. A $30 donation is required to compete for each location competition.  

Step #4: Turn in your paperwork a week before the competition. Paperwork should be sent via e-mail to claudia62195@yahoo.com 

Paperwork will include:   

• Resume/fact sheet

• Social Initiative Statement   

• Headshot

Miss Lubbock and Miss Lubbock's Teen will receive a prize package that includes an official Miss America crown and sash. Miss Lubbock and Miss Lubbock's Teen will be active role models in our community and have the opportunity to participate community events. They will also advance to compete for the title of Miss Texas or Miss Texas's Teen in June of 2026 in Richardson, TX as a representative of the great city of Lubbock!   

Those who are crowned Miss Lubbock and Miss Lubbock's Teen are responsible for fees to compete at the state competition (~$200-$300) as well as their attire to be worn during Miss Texas week. The Miss Texas's Teen contestants and their guardians must provide their own lodging in Richardson, TX during the week of Miss Texas.
