Fa-tia's hometown is Milwaukee, WI. Fa-tia, a nurse practitioner, together with her husband Dr. Edwin Onkendi, are the owners of Glo & Sparkle Aesthetics and MedSpa. After graduating with her Nurse Practitioner degree from Marquette University and a Master's in Health Care Administration from Kings College, she had aspirations to open her own healthcare facility. After graduation, Fa-tia completed advanced training in aesthetics from the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. From there, she worked as a NP in Sleep Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico and later worked as a NP in Colorectal Surgery at Texas Tech University. While in Texas, Fa-tia played an instrumental role in treating the COVID-19 population in West Texas.
Fa-tia was Miss Teen Milwaukee, 1st runner-up for Miss Teen Wisconsin and Miss Wilkes-Barre. Fa-tia's involvement includes volunteering for Miss Wisconsin Pageants, Lubbock Junior league - SPARK 8th grade mentorship and Food2Kids, YWCA Wine Women and Shoes, Lubbock Impact Food and Clothes Closet, Grace Campus Homeless Shelter, Meals on Wheels, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Inside out Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), MLK day, Volunteer Center of Lubbock, Purses For A Purpose, Holiday Happening, and High Point Village Summer Nights Respite Care.
